I am not very talented when it comes to the tech stuff behind this blog. Jenny designed everything and whenever I screw something up (it’s happened more than once), she’s come to the rescue. I can do the basic things, like add a logo to my sidebar. That’s pretty much it. With that being said, I made some very slight changes yesterday that took me a lot longer than I’d care to admit. The OCD/perfectionist/type A in me wanted all of my “member of” badges the same size. The variation in circle sizes was driving me NUTS. I don’t know how I left it this long. I am proud to say that it has finally been fixed and looks 100x better. I figured I could just change the dimensions in the widget box but for some reason that didn’t work. It was a whole lot of re-saving the images, shrinking them in their “preview”, taking screenshots of the new sizes, and then uploading them again. If there is an easier way to do this, please don’t tell me. I do not want to know.
I also updated my “favourites” page. I added some of my favourite products that I’m currently training in and also expanded my list of favourite blogs. I’ll admit that I haven’t been great at reading blogs lately with everything that’s been going on and I’m probably missing a bunch from that list, but it’s always in progress. I’ll add as I remember! Finally, I’m still working on the “nutrition” section. There are just a handful of things on there right now, plus all the Vega stuff I take regularly.
Last but not least, I added a fun little Instagram widget to my sidebar where you can see tiny thumbnails of recent photos. If you hit the follow button, it’ll open a new window and bring you to my actual Instagram account where you can creep the rest of my profile if you want – ha!
