Body in motion {GIVEAWAY}

Thanks for all of your comments on my last post.  It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one who falls off the wagon or stuffs their face with candy.  Good news is I have been working my butt off this week so far.  Think big salads and intense workouts.  Aww yeahhh.  It’s going to be a good week!

I had a Tina Steinberg Designs giveaway a while back and it’s time for another!  Tina contacted me before my trip to NYC and told me about a few new styles that she just created.  All of her pieces are so inspirational and I am loving these new ones geared towards athletes and active people (like us!!).  I really liked this one in particular:

The front says “Body in motion every day” and the back says “to form the ultimate ME”.  That’s exactly what we should all be striving to do.  We shouldn’t set out to be or look like someone else, but instead be the best version of ourselves.  Move your booty, get healthy, and be the best YOU that you can be.

    I love running, I must admit that in school I felt like an awful runner because of the way gym class was and I hated it. Now I love it and have so much confidence!

    Right now I get my body in motion by doing Yoga! I have severe anemia and have been told to dial down my workouts, but I don’t want to stop making progress so I do things like walking, swimming and yoga to keep my body in motion!

    My fave way is usually to run… but it all starts with Monday… if I can get myself in motion on Monday…the rest of the week is a breeze!

    I would have to say running. Esp on fall days when the leaves are changing colour. I always feel an overwhelming sense of gratefulness that I am able to run and have good health.

    I am trying to incorporate different things to keep me in motion. Love Turbo Jam/Turbo Fire, lifting weights, zumba, pilates, and yoga. Can’t run due to a bad knee, but like to walk!

    I do BodyRock and Zwarrior workouts as well as weighted bonuses. I like to finish my workout with a nice fruit/veggie smoothie with Whey :) Eat clean, Train Dirty!

    I love the message on that necklace! A good, long run of 15 or more miles always clears my head and makes my body hurt, in a good way! I also love spin class or a hard 45 minute strength training session.

    I get my body moving by running 6x’s a week. I run faster by thinking my 2 boys (7 and 4) are chasing me, saying “MOMMY…. MOMMY”

    I love hitting the gym to lift heavy with my best friend who happens to double as the boyfriend. There’s nothing better than getting active with the one who inspires you everyday. It’s a bit of a bonus when my pre-workout ritual involves me waking him up by jumping on the bed like a little kid singing the ‘rise and shine song’….there’s really no song I just babble Til he wakes up haha.

    I love doing Ashtanga yoga, Primary Series :) It challenges my muscles, balands and flexibility like nothing else and I always feel like I truly put myself through the wringer afterwards!

    My favorite ways to move my body are taking little man on a walk in his stroller and lifting weights, I love adding more weight to moved it makes me proud of the strength I am building and the confidence in myself and my capabilities along with the love for my body which is a love everyone deserves to have!     Nearly every morning I am up and working out in my basement home gym. I mix it up by doing BodyRock workouts and Jillian Michaels or Bob Harper DVD’s.

    While I do something each day, right now my favorite way to stay in motion is the daily stretch, strength, and cardio breaks I take with my 2nd grade class. It’s just minutes a day, but they have learned a lot and they now have the same love/hate relationship with burpees as I do! They moan and groan when the burpee stick is pulled from the bin but they drop and get them done :)

    My favorite way to get my body in motion is with a HIIT. I have a one year old so it is the easiest way for me to guarantee that I get in a good workout that leaves me feeling challenged, sweaty and motivated. I love a good run on a crisp fall day with the sun shinning, but I am hopeless with pushing the jogging stroller. I am not a good multi-tasker.

    My favorite way to get my body in motion….an important catalyst for me, is actually a person. There are many workouts I enjoy (Interval training, weight lifting, TRX), but one of the most important ways I actually “get moving” is from the regular support of my best friend (Stephanie Willing). She is the one that gets me moving when I do not want to, that reminds me why I am on this journey when I am feeling down and out. A lot of people appear to have an endless fire within that never needs stoking, but this isn’t the case with me, so her support is the extra push I sometimes need. As much as I’d like this necklace for myself I will be giving it to her (if I win). She has succeeded in her own personal goals and is generous enough to help others. I think this necklace would make a very nice thank you, and also reflect how she lives everyday….in motion.

    I stay in motion by walking everyday, I don’t have a car, so this is how I get around. At school I take the stairs every time, and with classes alternating between the first and fifth floor, I get a lot of flights in. I like working out with friends too, one of them is coaching me right now to help me smack-down the 40 lbs I have to lose. Feels great!!!

    I keep my body in motion by regularly hitting the gym. I know it sounds average, but I am able to lift my critical ill patients when they can’t do for themselves, providing a role model for a healthy life after they have reached a crisis in their life after their heart attack. My body provides the soap box for clean eating and keeping your body in motion.

    I work out 4-5 days a week! 3 days are heavy lifting, while two are generally cardio or plyometrics!

    Running is may favorite way to keep my body in motion. Running is the only sport that i feel you can do anywhere. Nothing is more rewarding and invigorating than going for a run wheither it be in the city or country night or day. All you need is a good pair of running shoes and motivation and you can run and let go of the stress of the world!
