ECD Blueberry Peach Cobbler Smoothie (+ giveaway!)

Here is the last recipe for out ECD Sisters in Iron Veggielicious Contest!  Thank you again to everyone who has submitted photos for the previous recipes.  If you missed any of them, be sure to check out the cappuccino fudge pops, pita pockets, and protein pancakes.

BLUEBERRY PEACH COBBLER SMOOTHIE

PREP: 5 minutes |COOK: 0 minutes| YIELD: 1 smoothie

Looking for a refreshing drink that doubles as a tasty dessert? We’ve got you covered with the delightful peach-berry flavor of this creamy, protein-packed smoothie

Ingredients:

• 1 scoop plain or vanilla protein powder
• ½ cup / 120 ml skim milk (I used almond)
• ½ cup / 120 ml blueberries
• 1 sliced peach
• ½ cup / 120 ml plain, nonfat yogurt
• 1 tsp / 5 ml Sucanat (can sub sweetener of your choice or omit completely)

Preparation:

Add all ingredients to a blender and purée. You may need to pulse a few times.
If mixture is too thick, slowly add more skim milk and blend to desired thickness.

NUTRITIONAL VALUE PER SERVING:

Calories 300| Calories from Fat: 17 | Protein: 36g | carbs: 37g | Total Fat: 2 g | Fiber: 5g | Sodium: 426mg

Just made one each for us and they are so good! Sweetened The Captain’s but not mine… they are more purple than pictured… just knew it would be delicious and it is! Going to enter that giveaway and link today’s blog post to this one of yours… thanks C!
