Today was W4D3 of James Wilson’s program and MAN, DID I SWEAT. I didn’t even do the cardio today (figured it was okay since I broke the rules yesterday) but was still a sweaty little monkey by the end of it! Today was also the first time I ever wore short tight shorts to the gym. I am always in Lululemon speed shorts (which I buy in a size up so that they’re a bit longer and looser) but today I faced my booty fear!
I have always hated my legs and butt, thinking that they were not firm enough and too big in comparison to my scrawny upper half. I am still trying to overcome this insecurity and my current training program is definitely helping. I took the first step today and put on a pair of tight(ish) shorts to workout in. I am determined to get the legs tighter (cellulite be gone!) and the glutes rounder. Results take time and I keep telling myself to be patient. I will get there!!
On another note, have you all heard of Powercakes?? She is amazing and super inspiring so if you haven’t checked her out yet, I suggest you do so RIGHT NOW.
For the month of June Kasey is hosting a POWERMEAL A DAY clean eating challenge! All you need to do is follow the challenge chart below and try to incorporate what is listed for each particular day into one of your meals for that day.

Kasey even has some fun prizes to go along with the challenge! I am really excited about this and can’t wait to amp up my eats even more. I already have tomorrow’s “eat a rainbow” lunch ready for work! 😉
